The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 interrelated and ambitious goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015 to guide global efforts towards a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future. The goals cover a broad range of interconnected issues, including poverty, health, education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, and biodiversity, among others.
